SanitiserSafe+ is a water-based bio-degradable anti-microbial (anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal) cleaner and disinfectant that kills 99.999% of micro organisms. It is for applying to hard surfaces and when dry, forms an invisible protective permeable mono layer that delivers a unique biostatic anti-microbial barrier to kill bacteria and enveloped viruses. APPLICATION :
SanitiserSafe+ is for use on hard surfaces that would not be adversely affected by contact with water. Designed for use in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, surgeries, canteens, hotels, schools and offices, work surfaces; for cleaning and disinfecting floors, door handles, walls, paintwork, equipment, sinks, washrooms, lavatories, waste bins, etc.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Remove debris from surface to be sanitised, agitate where required. Spray on and leave to act for 2 minutes. Either allow to air dry or soak up excess moisture with a paper towel. On vertical surfaces it will be necessary to deal with drips. Apply product as if it is a treatment /coating.
TEST CARRIED OUT
Sanitiser Safe+ has been tested by an independent accredited testing laboratories BluTest in Glasgow and has passed the European Suspension Test against the surrogate Vaccinia Virus.
BS EN 14476:2013+A2:2019
Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics. Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of virucidal activity in the medical areas. Kills COVID-19 at both 10% and 50% dilution to log 4 reduction. This gives a 99.99% effectiveness against enveloped viruses.
BS EN 1276:2009 10% Dilution
Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics. Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics used in food, industrial, domestic and institutional areas, this gives a log 5 reduction, 99.999% effectiveness against bacteria .

Conclusion:
The product SanitiserSafe + Concentrate met the log reduction requirements as specified in EN 1276 (5 lg within the relevant contact time) in dirty conditions with a contact time of 30s and 5 minutes

Quantitative surface test for the evaluation of residual antimicrobial (bactericidal and/or yeasticidal) efficacy of liquid chemical disinfectants on non-porous hard surfaces.
Test Organisms: Pseudomonas aeruginosa , Staphylococcus aureus
Conclusion:
The test product, SanitiserSafe+, in dirty conditions, at a concentration of 10%, achieved a >3 lg reduction in counts of the test organisms at 1 day, 3 day and 7 day and hence can be considered to have residual activity up to 7 days.
ACTIVE COMPONENTS
• Offer a broad-spectrum activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Fungicidal and mildewcidal. Action against enveloped viruses for example; Hepatitis B, HIV, etc. showing a high tolerance to hard water whilst maintaining efficacy in the presence of heavy organic soiling such as blood and protein. It has good surfactant and wetting properties.
CITADEL TECHNOLOGY
Citadel is an ingredient used in anti-microbial formulations where there is a need to increase the residual efficacy of products. The micro-biocidal and micro-biostatic properties give a positive charge which interacts with the negatively charged microbial cell walls, inducing cell lysis to affect a physical kill and therefore removing the ability of the targeted microbes to adapt, migrate or mutate. Citadel forms a covalent bond with a hard surface, being adsorbed to both the surface and itself, which promotes the residual efficacy of the host surface against future colonies of microbes. Citadel opens-up possibilities for a variety of uses when combined in a novel way with minute quantities of approved biocides which work in combination once they have been permanently bonded to a surface. Without leaching, the product will remain stable and active whenever moisture is present, promoting activity against a range of tested organisms.
