Who Are Klarna?   

Klarna is a Swedish Payment Service Provider that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payment. Klarna is the provider of Smooth Payments to more than 70,000 online stores. Over 60 million consumers worldwide have trusted Klarna to securely handle their payments.

   

A New Way to Pay

We're currently working on new ways to take payments at MorsePoint. You may notice Klarna as part of your checkout process as we have now partnered up with them to bring you an up to date, modern online shopping experience. This will then give you the option to order quickly without providing any payment first.

You will be offered with Pay Later, Pay in 3 or Pay Now/Card option at the checkout. This will help improve the ease with which you can place orders with us here at MorsePoint.

   

How Pay Later Works/Are You Eligible? UK CUSTOMERS ONLY

This payment option is allowed up to a maximum spend of £300 (dependent on the accuracy of information you provide). No need to create a Klarna account. Once you have ordered your items using Klarna Pay Later, you will receive a payment instruction. Once your order is delivered you'll have 14 days to pay Klarna. No fees, no interest. You can complete the payment with no extra cost via credit or debit card at www.klarna.com/uk.

   

  • To use Pay Later you must be at least 18 with a good credit history

   

  • Ensure your billing address match those held by your bank account or electoral roll


  • Retry- ensuring delivery of goods to your billing address


  • Use your full name

   

  • Also, when choosing Pay Later - Klarna's assessment will not affect your credit rating.

   

How Pay in 3 Works/Are You Eligible? UK CUSTOMERS ONLY

   

Just like the above, but when choosing to Slice in 3 you can spread the cost over three equal payments over 60 days with no interest or or additional fees. A minimum spend of £35 to a maximum of £1000 is required when using this payment option.

1st payment at time of purchase

2nd payment after 30 days

3rd payment after 60days

   

How Pay Now Works? ALL CUSTOMERS

If you want to pay now that's fine, just select the 'Card' option at the checkout and your transaction will be processed straight away.


Will A Credit Search Take Place?

Neither Klarna nor MorsePoint run credit searches against you that could impact your credit rating. 

Klarna may run so-called unrecorded enquiries (or soft credit searches) that do not affect credit scoring and are only visible to you & Klarna - but not visible to other lenders.

   

I Have Been Redirected To Klarna's Site, Is That Correct?

Yes, if you have chosen to Pay Later, Klarna will send you an e-mail with further details on how to pay. Your e-mail will contain a link to Klarna where you can settle your payment via credit or debit card.

   

How Is My Statement Sent?

If you chose to Pay Later, Klarna will send you an e-mail with instructions on how to make the payment and a link to the payment page. Enter your statement number into the payment page and follow the instructions. If you do not have your statement number, you can contact Klarna's Customer Service Department here - www.klarna.com/uk/customer-service

How To Return An Order If I Have Paid via Klarna?

If you've paid Klarna, you can either send your unwanted item(s) back to us within 14 days from receipt for a full refund or an exchange. To Return an order, please use the following link to get all the relevant information from our Returns Page - Click Here. Any returns returned after the 14 day policy will entitle you to online credit only.

If you have paid for your order via credit or debit card, the refund will be made back to the same card. If you have not paid the outstanding payment, then the refund will be reduced from the statement or cancel it out completely.

   

What Happens to My Outstanding Payment, When I've Returned My Order/Item(s)?

Once we have received your Return (Partial or Full) back at our Head Office, an updated Statement will be sent to you by Klarna if you've made a partial return. With a full return, your statement will be closed.
